Itinerary R - Km 1.3 - Brusasco Village

This short itinerary, entirely developing in the territory of Brusasco, gives the opportunity to climb the hill rich in woods, where you will see the village and castle of Borgo del Luogo (also called Borgo Garibaldi).
The itinerary leaves from the charming Romanesque-style small church of S. Pietro, a contact point with the main itinerary. In Borgo del Luogo (from the Latin lucus, that is "sacred woodland"), the first nucleus of the castle was built during the Middle Ages: next to it, a small village was built. Of the latter, Porta di San Sebastiano, S. Bernardo church and Annunziata church remain.
