Cascina Belvedere Visitor centre

Cascina Belvedere Visitor centre is along former State Route "494 Vigevanese", at km 70, in the direction of Mortara and Lomellina.
The building ("cascina" means farmstead) used to be the rural dwelling and hunting lodge of a renowned hunting preserve; when Region Piedmont bought it in 1979 it was restored and turned into the offices of Garzaia di Valenza Nature Reserves, first step towards the establishment of Po River Park in 1990.
