The Vallere Visitor Center is situated within a farmstead from the 18th century (called "Cascina Le Vallere") which houses the offices of the Park Authority too. The farmstead is located in the middle of the Le Vallere Nature Reserve. The Vallere Visitor Center focuses on the park's flora and biodiversity. Through specific exhibitions the oxbow lakes, dry beds of rivers, forests, fossils, the riparian forest and the alder forests are described.
Within the Visitor Center there is also a room to watch videos, and many educational activities in the open air and didactic workshops are also organized. It is possible to visit the adjacent Carlo Allioni Phenological Garden - where perennial plants have been planted with the aim to regularly register their development stages - and the Vallere Park.
Opening times: Open by previous booking from Monday to Thursday, from 10.00 a.m. to noon and from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., on Friday from 10.00 a.m. to noon.
