Canavese White
Definition
Canavese White consists of the 100% Erbaluce grapes. It has a straw-yellow color; a characteristic, fruity, intense, and pleasant scent; a dry-harmonious taste. Minimum alcohol content: 10%; minimum total acidity: 5 per mil; net dry extract: 17 per mil.
- Production Area: It includes the morainic hills of Canavese area, in the Province of Turin, and some Municipalities of the Provinces of Biella and Vercelli. Among the Municipalities of Po Torinese Park, there are Mazzè and Villareggia.
- Legislative Protection: Canavese wine has obtained the DOC label (Controlled Designation of Origin) with the Ministerial Decree 12th September 1996. This wine has the following code: B303 X 888 1 X X A 0 X.
